Shoresox Case Study

Print Back to case studies

A Niagara Region Golf Course was plagued by erosion problems on one of their tee blocks. This resulted in lost ground and made it almost impossible for the golfers to tee off comfortably. In addition, being a high-end golf course, no heavy equipment was permitted.

We needed to reclaim valuable lost land so a new tee block would not have to be built. In addition, there were time restrictions as not to impede the play of members.

We chose SHORESOX as the ideal solution for this project. It`s a low impact system that was cost effective and easy to install. The installation only took a total of 4hours to complete which allowed continuous play for the golfers. With the use of SHORESOX, we were able to stabilize the bank prevent future erosion. 5 feet of reclaimed land was established, preventing the need for a new tee box, No heavy equipment used, saving restoration costs. The golf course was very happy with the result.
