On Friday, October 21st , Devron Sales will be participating in the 48th annual Drainage Engineers Conference.
This system not only reduces phosphate and nitrate but also eliminates the use of heavy equipment and halts soil erosion, all in an environmentally friendly manner. We work with agricultural groups, municipalities, drainage professionals and conservation authorities to help develop best practices in reducing the surface and subsurface transportation of phosphorus off agricultural land either directly into waterways, or via municipal drainage systems.

Our understanding of the importance, complexity, and interconnectedness of watercourses, and their relationship with biological and ecological processes continues to evolve, leading to a growing emphasis on protecting Canada’s green infrastructure. The conference is part of a continuum of learning and advancement of the science and practice of channel rehabilitation in Ontario. This began in Ontario in the early 1990s and evolving in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia and elsewhere over the last 25-30 years. It seeks to further explore innovations in science in an effort to better understand the importance of streams and their corridors to the health of watersheds.
Over the course of two days, we will hear from practitioners, scientists, academics, and policy makers who can share their knowledge and innovation in order to deliver new ideas and approaches to problem solving. The conference is composed of International Keynote Speakers, Concurrent Sessions, Panels and Workshops, as well as a Poster Session. Our Wine and Cheese social event will offer opportunities for networking with a diverse group of attendees.”
